Demetri is currently working as consultant and business developer for the Boston Innovation Gateway at the IXL Center, a Boston based start-up focused on the internationalization of foreign investors and companies into the United States from abroad.

Previously, Demetri represented the governments of Ontario and Wales while working as a trade promotion consultant at Pro Ativa Consultoria Empresarial, an engineering consulting firm headquartered in Porto Alegre, Brazil. In addition to having developed projects in the pharmaceutical, oil & gas, telecommunications, automotive, and power generation industries, Demetri also has experience in non-profit consulting, having worked as an independent research and start-up consultant for NGOs in Ecuador and Panama.

Demetri obtained his MBA from the Hult International Business School, where he played an active role in the development of the Sanofi Internal Dashboard and Portal Project. Additionally, Demeri holds a BA and BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, located in Eau Claire, USA.
